Small chip, big crack
A chip is a weak point in the glass. Heat, cold, bumps, and everyday driving can turn it into a crack — and a long crack means a full replacement.
What Josh actually does
The chip is cleared of loose glass and debris.
Clear resin is pressed into the break so it fills the damage.
The resin is hardened and the surface is smoothed.
A repair strengthens the damaged spot and makes it much less noticeable. A faint mark can remain where the chip was.
